Hi,

Usually the Broker will already have a plan in place.  The Broker generally pays a inter-company referral fee to the referring Agent on closed transactions.  If no policy is established, make sure to run it past your Broker.  At my company, the Broker will pay a referral fee for the first four deals.  I have worked at different companies and usually it's a flat fee anywhere between $250-$1k per deal.

Good luck!
