Refi with no job

I recently lost my job, and am now going back to school. My mortgage rate is at 6.375, I need to refinance! Any ideas?

You could try a loan modification with your existing lender. Since you lost a job, that financial hardship should make you a better candidate.   There are no guarantees and it can be a very frustrating experience, but it may be worth a shot.

With no income, nobody would allow you to refinance.

Sorry to hear about your job loss -

Do you have any income coming in other than unemployment? Are you married and possibly your spouse working? If you have no income that is established then you can not refinance.
