Doug, Lake Charles has a steady and stable market.  Lake Charles homes are typically taking 90-120 days on the market before closing and Lake Charles is averaging 13 homes closing per week (these figures were for May 2011).  The Lake Charles industry sector is experiencing expansions and growth which is relocating new residents to Lake Charles.
