Remove price history

How can I remove price history?  This is not public information and not relevant when we sell in the future as the market will have changed.  Further, I did not authorize my agent to post on Zillow.

There are 2 different types of feeds. Obviously as a seller you want your agent to put the listing in the MLS so that other agents can see the property and show it to clients. However, as an agent you have the ability to not include the listing in any IDX feeds. Most MLS's offer an option to exclude from IDX. If you do not want it advertised on sites such as Zillow then you should ask them to remove the IDX feed.
Personaly, if I have a client that does not want their property to be shown on these sites I would be weary...why would a seller NOT want their property to have exposure, and hinder my job in selling it?

Hello Ladydiver:

Did you possibly list your home with an agent that placed it on the MLS? If so, that is extremely public and it is picked up through the IDX which distributes it to a tremendous amount of websites. The agent, applies to Realtors only, is required to place listings into the MLS within 48-hours, unless there is a "Seller Instruction to Exclude from the Multiple Listing Service or Listing Information from Internet" (SEL) form signed. If this form is signed, the agent can list the home without placing it into the MLS which will distribute your listing on Zillow or any other webportal.

Just note, this puts you at an extreme disadvantage and basically will rely on word of mouth at best.

There are also ways to prevent the transfer price from being disclosed even publicly, but of course this would have to be done prior to transfer.

Hope this works out for you.

What I listed my home for is NOT public record.  Sales price history is.

Price history is public record. As such it can be legally shown here.

It will not be removed, it does not need to be authorized by anyone. Public record is well, public record which means it is openly available to anyone who wants to look.
