I had to figure that one out too but, didn't realize that it wasn't that simple since I've gotten used to it now!   It would be nice if there was just a box that you checked and unchecked, period!

I had this / a similar issue with removing my house from the favorites list.  I had to do it in several steps:

1. Click on the houses' link to go to the "home listing" page on Zillow (the page with all the detail on the house).

2. Under the main description of the house, there is a "menu row" - titles currently are: post..., save..., share..., email..., edit..., print...

3. Under the edit menu dropdown, there is another link:  "Release Ownership Claim"  (assuming this is only there if you have claimed ownership).  So - click that to release ownership (theres a brief query about why you are relase claim to finish the process).

4. Now, go back to the favorite homes page.  Now, under the home listing, the link I was originally looking (and you too, I'm guessing) for is actually there: "Remove Favorite".  Click that link, and Zillow will no longer bug you about that house.  :)

Note to Zillow folks:  please put an "unclaim" link on the favorties page.  If you are looking at a home you have calimed in the favorites list, and you want to remove it, it is utterly, completely, unclear what to do next.  I figured it out (as above), but help your users out, and give them a place to go from here.  Thanks!
