Removing someone from the title

We lost my brother while serving in Iraq my dad was his beneficiary & bought a house out right with the benefits. He added his girlfriend to the title & recently they have separated. To say the less it hasn't been the best separation. What or where do we start to get her off the title?

A simple quit claim deed will remove her from the title of the home, but he will need her signature to do so.  Quit claim deeds can be downloaded or purchased from the internet in minutes. It is probably worth a call to a Atty to make sure the form will be considered legal in your state.  Shouldn't cost much though.   GOOD LUCK!

This is probably where you should consult with an attorney.   As the ex-girlfriend is on the title, she legally owns a portion of the property and he may have to buy out her portion.
