I was using it for a farm and acreage to hunt on.  I hate the city.

In AZ (and most places I suspect) these loans are no longer used in any original sense of the word "rural" Now, they are merely used to encourage buying in the most far flung energy irresponsible developments imaginable: Want to live 50 miles from your job in Phoenix? get a rural development loan in a new subdivision!

If it was still for truly rural homes, family farms etc, I'd support it.

the bastardization its become? let it die!
