Ryder Cup 2012 house rental booking

I received the booking deposit to supply my house as ryder cup accommodation. The total agreed rental amount is $18,500 for 10 nights. How is this taxed? Do I declare it as income tax? Does the deposit come under this years tax return and the remainder under next year?
