I agree as well. This is a free service provided by realtors, so you might as well take advantage of it. 2009 is going to be too outdated to be relevant.

I would agree with Vince - the tools available to real estate professionals allow time and condition based searches you are not going to find in consumer tools.

For dated sales, I would contact a Realtor or appraiser for that data, especially for tax, bank or estate related purposes. I would NOT rely on Zillows comps for anything more than your Zestimates, and they are not intended for anything else.
