• The main view, selectable by the lower left button, is incorrectly named "Street View." Um, Google much?? This is *not* street view! This is Map View. Street View is something entirely different, so this button should be renamed.
(Ironically, when looking at the details of a property, the top left arrowed button is called "Street View," and the top right button is called "Map." Yet -- tapping either of these buttons takes the user to the exact same place: Map View. (Weird.)
• No bookmarks?? So, each time we manually enter an address, there's absolutely no way to save that address for future reference. You have to type it in manually, every single time. Wow. This is a major oversight.
• Scrolling and zooming are excruciatingly slow and produce unexpected results. When I pinch to zoom in or out, I never seem to end up where I thought I would. Engineers, please look at the Google Maps app for the iPhone, and use that as a standard for how maps should behave.
• Also please incorporate the gestures that Google Maps does. For example, tapping once with *two* fingers zooms out one level. That's extremely useful!
• I live in a nice Los Angeles neighborhood, and the homes on either side of me are on the market. One's been listed for only 3 weeks, but the other's been listed for 11 months. Yet -- Zillow shows *neither* as being for sale. (I assume that's about Zillow's data more than the iPhone app, itself.)
I'm eagerly, eagerly awaiting updates to this app.
Thanks.
