Sorry, I see my question never posted.  I have accepted a counter from the negotiator of the short sale.  My realter (buyer) said we should put the house in escrow that day.  I did start escrow on the house and have my loan setup to do a 10 day close once accepted.  My question is should i have my realter tell the bank we have started escrow and can do a 10 day close?  If so, what are the pros and cons to this?.

You will go to escrow after the short sale is approved by the bank/banks.
