That's good news!  Do you have some statistics on processing time two years ago vs today?

Not the lenders I have had experience with. The whole short sale process in inefficient and overlapping, with the same request coming down 3 times from different people who don't know what the other people in their company are doing.  Banks should not be in the real estate business!

Our fastest lenders in the short sale process have been Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Chase recently. We just sold a Luxury short sale in under 60 days with Chase in Virginia. Under 30 days for approval, closed weeks later, no cash brought to table by seller and deficiency rights waived. They are definitely getting better and faster!

Not here in Atlanta, from my experience the homes are going into foreclosure before the short sale process gets completed.

I agree with Jennifer. Wells Fargo, Chase are the fastest and BOA is the most organized..
We have had great luck with a Luxury Short sale with ING.
Better faster as long as the seller is willing and able.
