Short appraisal less than buyers offer.I have a contract on a short sale in the windsor mill area of maryland. The bank has come back saying they accept my offer, but will not assist with closing costs. I am tempted to accept the offer. However, my next concern is that the house will not appraise for what I offered which is $125K. I am worried that I will pay for inspection and appraisal, only for the deal to fall through because of the low appraisal. Comps in the area of similar houses closed for $105 and $106 one was a foreclosure, the other was a traditional sale. I just don't want to loose out of hundreds of dollar, doesn't sount like much but I don't want to loose any of the money I struggle to save.
