Hi Ellis804,

Most definately put some form of contact information so a patential buyer can contact you for viewing and/or questions they might have. For example, phone number or email.

There is a sight www.forsalebyowner.com that you can list your property and have the option to put it the MLS for that city. They will charge a percentage fee to do this, so be prepared.

Take pictures of your property especially of the Kitchen, Master Bedroom, Master Bath, front and back of home and upload to the website. Youtube.com is a good source to put a virtual tour of your home.  Clean the home from top to bottom. Clear all clutter that you will not being using or haven't used in a while. Remove personal photos's.

Yes, you should have some form of contact information on the MLS.  Typically, the listing agent would at least have his phone number on the MLS.

It is possible to list in the MLS for a low, flat fee through a brokerage like ours.  I am flat fee MLS Broker who lists in your area. 

Your phone number will then be listed on the MLS listing, and you will also be listed on over 1000 popular real estate websites, including Zillow, Trulia, homesdatabase.com, and more.

To  list, all a seller needs to do is order the service, fill out a questionnaire about the details of your home that we provide, and get that form back to us.  You can typically be in the Realtors Multiple Listing Service within a day.  The service also includes answers to your questions by a Maryland Licensed Agent.

You cannot list it on the MLS without an agent. You may be able to find a flat fee brokerage but they will charge you for posting pictures ans any other changes that may need to be made during the listing period. Have you spoken to a full service agent just to compare services?

You cant list a FSBO on the mls without contacting a broker to list it for you. You may find a flat fee broker to do this for you at a cost.
