Should I refinance??

I did my refinancing 3 years ago. My interest rate is 5%. My correct loan is 234,000. My house is worth 290,000, and I live in MA. Should I refinance?

Probably.  But of course depends.   I would say it's absolutely worth looking into!

Ultimately it depends on your goals.  That should be the first conversation that your having with a lender is what is it that you are looking to accomplish with a refinance transaction.

Hi user668360. I work for a Mortgage company and I would be more than happy to help you out. Right now a 30 year fixed rate is at 4.05% all depending on your credit, the better your credit, the lower your rate. How much equity do you have?

You should definitely explore this option.  A 30 year loan should make sense and if you are very comfortable with the payment, a 15 year should definitely make sense.  Have a mortgage professional check your numbers and explain your options.  Remember don't always listen to some that say you have to save 2% in rate.  The higher the loan, the lower the savings needs to be.  Compare the costs versus savings and consider how long you should have the mortgage.  Good luck.

You should at least be seriously considering this. Rates in the high 3s.
