Should we finish with pine?

3 years ago we removed a wall between the living rm and kitchen. We then put tongue and groove pine on the walls. We are no thinking of selling out house. Should we finish the whole upstairs in pine (hallways...bedrooms) or are we better off to just paint?

"Should we finish the whole upstairs in pine?"       What do you like best?   Do as you aren't planning to move soon, decorate for yourself.

If you are planning to sell, I would stick with paint - less expensive and less personal to your taste.

Good luck!
