No, and they do allow ANYONE to publish that homes are for sale, so just because an agent shows up connected to a house, this does not mean they necessarily have the listing. Zillow is a great place to assist you in connecting with web and marketing savvy agents and brokers, but do not rely solely upon Zillow. Always interview at least a few in person to determine who will serve you best and who has a communication style you like - after all, you are going to work together on a very important transaction together!

pub,
did you see that there was a guy who was advertising on this site that he could get anyone financing? thought you might want to pass that on to your neighbor; any luck?

my icon is the house that I had built and I WILL own......someday...in the near future I hope
I can hardly bear to look at the pictures of the property I wanted that the RE sent to me. Everytime I see them I just want to cry.

This is why I've tried not to get too attached to any property before our current house sells. But it's nearly impossible, isn't it? I mean, I can't not look at homes I might want to buy in the future because I want to follow the market and see what's available. But my favorite place is now "pending", and I have a suspicion it sold for a lot less than asking price.

how do you know if a property is pending?

You can call the listing agent and ask if it is pending. As for the sale price, you will have to wait until the escrow actually closes to find out the sales price. A good agent will not discuss that until the sale is complete.
