Sold home pricing error

Re: 12848 Gilmore Ave zipcode 90066 Sale Price of $2.9 M is 4X the cost of other homes sold and for sale  in the neighborhood.  The original owner said he sold that home in 2013 for $720,000.

Remember, the information in the Multiple Listing Service is only as good as the Realtor that inputs the information. I am not the first person that put in 1,000,000,000 for a property that sold at $1,000,000! In that case, one must go to the Rules and Regulations department of their local Multiple Listing Service and have them correct the error. It is crucial because those sold prices determine the current value on everything else. One other thing, As soon as a Realtor inputs a listing, rental, sold, etc…it is instaneous information to all other Realtors. Often these secondary sites like Redfin, Zillow, takes days if not weeks to have their feed change the statistics on these secondary sites. So find a Realtor, and ask them to sign you up for client connect, to get up to the second information on change status on properties.
