Great question! Aside from the USDA loans out there, many states & counties have various grant programs & other no down payment programs available (they vary state to state & the qualifications vary as well). If you are in DC, MD or VA & would like to discuss those, I would be more than happy to chat with you privately. If you are in another part of the country, I would be happy to put you in touch with a professional who can assist. I hope this has helped you to know that buying a home can be accomplished with the same, if not less, out of pocket funds as renting.

I depends where you want to purchase a home. There are 100% loans avaialble from the USDA but there are restrictions based on areas that qualify and you also can't make over a certain amount of money per year. I'd be happy to get you in touch with a lender that can discuss this with you if you would like. Just take a look at my profile and shoot me an email. I'd be happy to help.
