I prefer the wood myself. It is easy to take care of fairly cool in the summer, warmer in the winter or mornings than tile.

Rather depends on the house and the neighborhood. Little point putting marble in a cheap house. I've got wood in mine.

I see a lot of marble and tile in FL bedrooms, but wood is definitely softer under foot.

It really depends what one likes. In general, potential buyers prefer tile, marble or wood floors rather than carpet. People with pets like dogs, cats do not like when floors are covered with carpet. But of course, you will find people that like carpet. For practical reasons, I would choose -tile floors. I think it is a good choice in terms of wear and tear, plus easy to maintain.
The type of floors you decide to choose should compliement the entire house. In Parkland, most likely you would like to go with marble floors, but again, somebody may like carpet better. It is really a personal choice, but if a house is offered for sale, I would rather go with marble floors
South Fl Home should have wood marble or carpet in master bedroom
