If you have stocks or bonds to pledge, yes.

Not if you don't reside here. I was under the impression you could still get an accept plus but I dont know if you don't even live in the United States. Tough to prove its your primary residence.

South Trust Funding still does SIVA programs ONLY on non owner occupied and second homes. They are pretty easy to work with.

MAX, Citi Mortgage still offers a Stated Doc. loan if your credit score is high enough, andif you have the lesser of $100K or 50% of your Stated Annual Income, but it comes w/ a higher price. It's called the Asset-Based Stated Income Program. We call it SIVA (Stated Income Verified Assets). The last one I priced out was at 7.375% Fixed. So, if you've already made an offer, and you want the house regardless of the cost, then this is the only Stated Income loan program that I am aware still exists, but I could be mistaken, and you're going to have to be willing to accept the higher interest rate.

Is it just me or does anyone find it interesting that people are still putting offers on homes before talking to a lender? Isn't that akin to opening up your brain for surgery before getting MRI?

how much did you put into escrow?
