Still owning 1st home with no cosigner for 2nd home loan?

Profile picture for RWCMommy
I would like to buy a new home but don't want to put my house for sale until we get a new house.  I've been told i will need a co-signer if i don't sell my house first.  is there anyway to get around this?  Specifically looking at an FHA loan

I suggest you speak with a reputable mortgage lender and find out what your options are.

If your income is high enough to be able to carry both mortgages and your down payment is high enough, then you will be fine with purchasing a second home without a co-signer.
