Submitted application for MHA, can I rent out rooms in my primary residence?We just submitted our application for Making Homes Affordable on our primary residence. In anticipation of getting a modification, we are trying to put ourselves in a better financial situation by renting out some rooms in our house. Will renting out rooms (gaining more income post-application submittal) put us in jeopardy of being denied. Will there be an home inspection that will reveal renters/unlisted income?
