In the past thirty years I have owned my own workshop serving the home decorating industry.

I worked with many interior designers over the years and experienced many ups and down.

Many years ago we did not face competition the way we do today.

When the mega stores appeared a huge change accrued.

We had to compete with products that were selling at much lower prices.

Many small business owner closed the doors and started working for the mega stores.

I did not give up, and focused on giving quality product, and service with out lowering my prices.

I did loose a lot of business but, over time customers that were not happy with the services of the mega stores, were coming

back...They were willing to spend a little more and receive professional service.

The real estate business faces similar problems with so many people who try to sell their home with out the help of a broker.

We should always focus on quality service and professionalism.
