TMI

TMI - no not the current acronym "too much information" but the old local icon...Three Mile Island.  A local source is publically calling for the closure of the site, referencing security concerns and the potential for a catastophic event.  The idea is based on the devastation to the interstate transportation systems, not just highways, crossing our area and the contamination of the river and its subsequent implications down stream....for the complete story check the Paxton Herald

I lived in Elizabethtown and was at the airport the day it vented.  Too much fear mongering going on by people who have no conception of what they are talking about.  It is not a nuclear bomb waiting to detonated.

Calling for the closing is pure stupidity.  I currently live near a nuclear plant in another state.  It is not that vulnerable.
