These two zip codes are part of Edison, TWP in Middlesex Co NJ. Both areas are readily accessible to many of the major thoroghfares in NJ. The NJ Transit Rail Line which goes into NY has two rail stations close to these areas.
Zip code 08817 is the large geographically of the two and is cosidered to be in South Edison. Zip code 08837 contains two of the older sections of Edison - Historic Clara Barton and Bonhamtown.
