Don't you believe Zillow has power to influence a house sale? With taxes, previous purchase price and Zestimate very inaccurate for my house (now for sale), it's of immediate concern to me.

You can change you home facts to give yourself a more accurate Zestimate. If the facts on your house are incorrect, you can change many of them yourself. First, you claim your house here. Then, edit your home facts to include your correct square footage, bedroom count, lot size, amenities, etc. Your home facts will update immediately, but if they change your Zestimate it may a few system updates for the new number to work their way into the larger system. You can also look into doing an owner's estimate to include additional features or remodels that Zillow does not have listed here. That is the best way to make your Zestimate as good as it can be within the constraints of the system. A buyer looking at your house will have to judge whether the number on Zillow holds any weight for them. If they like your house and it is unique, they may give it very little weight in their decision making process. Hope the links help.
