You have done everything Zillow tells you to do, but even though it takes up to 8 weeks for their steam powered infrastructure to update information, you will probably find very little movement in your zestimate value. It seems to me that a number of homes in a neighborhood seem to have these erroneous zestimates for no logical reason and what is more worrying is Zillows refusal to do anything about the situation. Its almost that they want to create the controversy surrounding incorrect zestimates purely to attract additional users who i turn attract additional revenues for zillow from adverts.
What you will find is that you will get lots of platitudes about a zestimate being a 'starting point', and not to take it serious etc. When it's about a $100,000 error that affects your home it is a very serious issue and the last thing you want to read are platitudes.

A zestimate is just a starting point. The zestimate does not know that your home has grantie countertops, brick front or brick all around etc. I have found that the zestimates are usally off just for rule of thumbs. The best way to find out your home value is to have a realtor that you trust run a cost comparative market analysis for your property.

I had something very similar happen last year. I had a property listed for $375,000 last year and the zestimate was showing a value of $212,000. I sold the property in 39 days for $378,000 with multiple offers. It's designed to give you an idea but it can't take things into account like location, or historic properties, or in my case waterfront homes.

When one edits home data, it takes time to reflect in the Zestimate as it is phased in over a several week period. The last one I monitored carefully took about 8 weeks to fully reflect the data changes. It appears your edits were yesterday.
A Zestimate is a starting point for comparison of properties, as Zestimates don't take into account upgrades, views and many other features that may add value except as reflected in the tax assessment and last sales price.

The Zillow value of my house is very inaccurate. How can I have this adjusted?
