The number of bedrooms and sq ft has changed. How does this get updated in Zillow?

The addition is listed with the Fairfield city assessors office and building plans office already.  Is there a process for getting a new zestimate and updated data for your site?  I would like to list it for sale when the data gets updated.

Hi Jinx,

Even when the update goes to zillow their zestimate will not be an accurate number to base you listing on. You are much better off getting a clear market analysis from a local Realtor. Your cost for both is free, however the professional Realtor will give you an accurate number based on current solds and taking into cosideration your upgrades.

As it is with the city, it will eventually arrive at Zillow.  But, the fastest way is for you to claim your home and edit the changes.    the Zestimate takes time to respond to substantial edits - a few weeks to a few months, but it is faster than waiting for it to come through from the city assessor's office.
