Thank you stimulus check! I wonder where the 150 billion will flow through? Maybe, it'll go to oil and help futher consumption..further exacerbate the demand for gas (price will go futher)...there will be a big thump due to the spike in oil price. All thanks to the simulus check! Man, it seems like all things are funneled to oil.

All I can say is that I am glad hub dumped our major holding at the beginning of the week. We bought back in today though.......happy thoughts, happy thoughts.

We are riding a very thin line on the dow, if we see another significant downturn, we could touch the lows from the .COM bust. If those do not hold... eek.

I am still waiting for an implosion and this weekend, which would be a good time for one.
The FED stated that there will be no more rate cuts, no matter what happens to the economy.
Oh, and they also stated that unemployment will be devastating.
When did they state that? At the exact moment the DOW retraced the valley of the peaks. May 21st.
What does that mean? I haven't a clue, but it cannot be good.

I think we have a little more time - But, Aldreth - you're right on... I give it at least another year or two... It'll be a long drawn out process as the recession gets worse, less businesses open up, all of the speculators with commercial property begin losing because the revenue doesnt come in... It's a slow time line, and it won't be a 2 week thing...

Keep an eye on commercial real estate REIT's specifically, they are about to implode as are mortgage rates. There is such a preponderance of fairy tales, pink ponies, care bears and positivity out there that only one thing can remain certain. Reality is about to rear its ugly head.
You know what, if these delusions of grandeur go on much longer, I'll just start myself a Bank, I'd also like to loan out 10 bucks for every dollar I receive, any takers? I'll name it ...
