The sq foot listed for my home is less than it actually is. How can I change this?

Go to your home details page and click "Edit," then "Edit home facts." You will need to claim the listing as the property owner.  You can then edit the information.  However, if the property tax record is also wrong, your edit often won't be approved.  Do you know if the property tax record is also wrong?  You can check this at the Franklin County Assessor's website: http://www.franklincountyauditor.com/your-property.cfm

Also, the changes don't appear right away.  More information on changes is available at http://www.zillow.com/wikipages/Home-Facts-Information/

If your property is listed with a real estate broker, they may need to approve the changes.  I am a flat fee MLS listing broker who is a member of the Realtors Multiple Listing Service for the Columbus area (called Columbus & Central Ohio Multiple Listing Service or CBR MLS), and we receive emails notifying us when the owner has changed information on a property we have listed.  Thanks and good luck.
