There's only one small bridge in and out of this area. Does it flood? What about evacuations?

I'm concerned about evacuations during hurricanes in this area with the one small bridge in and off the island. Has it ever flooded? Has it been shut down for any reason? Thanks.

The home itself has not ever flooded to my knowledge.  The property is in  a flood zone and does require flood insurance.  I am unaware of the bridge ever closing.  It is in evacuation area "A"--so it would be in the first areas to be evacuated.
