This home you valued at $111,000.00 just got appraised at $69,000.00.

Your value and the actual selling prices are way off on most homes. You need to update all of your listings.

Home values are down more than most people think. There are over 1000 homes in Cincinnati (hamilton county) alone that people have just walked away from because they are upside down on their values. It is getting real close to 1929. The house across the street was appraised at $85,000.00 two years ago and it sat on the market for a full year before they lowered the price to $50,000.00 and a year later they took it off the market since they did not have one single offer over $30,000.00. It is that bad here in Cincinnati.

Interesting...it was appraised for the purchase price in '93? If the home sells, or if there are recent sales in the area, the zestimate will update. I'll check to see if there has been any recent activity in the area.
