waste of political energy and public resources
the important "rights" for property owners are already included in the U.S. constitutional amendments
the government is still going to continue doing illegal searches and seizures and questionable eminent domain regardless

It is nothing but political pandering in an attempt to get votes. It is a potential financial disaster for the rest of us.
These politicians keep forgetting that a financial transaction has 2 parties. You do not increase money into the economy just because one person pays less interest. That money comes from the person who received that interest who now has less money to spend in the economy.
