Transfer of Prop 13 Tax Benefit

Are there any counties in California  where I can move and take my "Prop 13" tax rate with me?

Check out propositions 30 and 90.  They allow you to transfer old property tax rates to the new house.  One of the spouses must be 55+.  Certain counties only.

No There are not.  However you can reduce your current property taxes on any properties you own which have declined in value.

Ask me for help if you need more information.
