If you hover your cursor over edit on the home details page, what options do you see? Our secret spy tools for seeing the screen over your shoulder don't work very well (or at all).
For example, this is what I see when I hover my cursor over edit on my home ( I've already claimed the home). If one hasn't claimed the home the bottom one should say "claim your home".
If someone else has claimed the home or the home is listed by an agent or you've listed it on a provider such as postlets, you will not be able to claim the home.
If the one who has claimed is a mystery to you (because it isn't and hasn't been listed, and no one in your home may have claimed it), then chose the "report problem with home". When you click on it, you'll see a pop up box and one of the options will be "incorrect owner claim". Provide as much info as possible in the text box to help the Zillow customer service folks sort out the issue.
