If you are unable to claim your home, it is because someone else has claimed it. That may be a previous owner, someone else in your household, an agent who is getting ready to help you sell or many other possibilities. As long as it isn't an agent helping you sell, to shake it loose so you can claim it, click on the "report problem with home" and you'll see an E-mail box with a drop down list at the top for choices. In the drop down menu, the choice you are looking for is "incorrect owner claim".

thanks folks. i selected "report problem with home" several weeks ago and still no luck. any other ideas?

Please click the word "Report problem with this home/listing". If you click on it, you should see more options and one of them is claim ownership.

I don't know Rob and my computer is most certainly different with a different ISP. (I only know where Larkspur CA is from looking on a map).
I also looked and see "report problem with listing" even though the property is not listed for sale or rent and there is no link to a listing.

Unable to claim my home. No "Claim" option within the edit tab.
