If you are planning to buy, it is best like Nic said to get your loan in process as soon as possible.

Good Luck.

First of all.... THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY!

Ok, I met both of these ladies at a Texas Veterans seminar this week and they are really knowledgeable about all things possible for vets.

In addition to the VA be sure and see what the Texas Veterans Land Board has to offer you.  TX Vet offers Land, Home and Home Improvement Loans.  This week the TX Vet loan rate was 4.88% which is awesome!

Ouida Bailey, pronounced (Oh eat a), She is a Senior Loan Officer with First Continental Mortgage, she is in San Antonio, but she can still help you. Call her at (210) 827-5527

Also call Tammy Tapman, she is a Mortgage Lender Liason with The Texas Veteran Land Board.  Call her at (512) 699-6192

Good Luck,

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Contact a VA lender and the things we ask are about your income, we are going to ask questions about your credit and if you already have a property and agent in mind. :) VA loans are really good :)
