There are a number of good mortgage people in the area that could work with you. Shoot me a quick message with your email address and I will give you a list. Just let me know if you have a preference about working with a local lender or if you are ok with a larger national company. I have worked with a lot of the area lenders and have recommendations from other agents in my office about area lenders that work in difficult situations. We should be able to find someone willing to work with you to get you back on track.

The idea from Shane of having your credit report handy to send to lenders is a good one. It will save time, but you have to make sure that you get all three separate scores as well as the combined score. Some lenders weight the different reporting agencies more than others and not having all the information could slow you down. Depending on their internal regulations, some lenders may not be able use credit reports that they haven't pulled themselves to make sure that there hasn't been any doctoring of the reports.

Good luck!

What are your scores and what is on your credit report? Do you know exactly?

You should get a copy of your credit report so you can interview loan officers, and email them a copy of your reports, without having your credit checked each time.  570 scores are definitely going to need your credit to be reviewed in order for you to get pointers on how to improve your scores, but be prepared with the information going into the conversation, don't be surprised.
