A home with low utility costs is a big positive for a buyer who is looking to manage the total cost of their housing over the long run. I would push the appraisal community to start better taking into account green homes such as yours which offer very low legacy and long running costs.

Valuation you speak of is not quantifiable on formal appraisals let alone Zestimates, so I wouldnt hold my breath. Way too many variables. Though once green homes are in demand as much as homes with other amentieis, such as pools, views, etc, a standard may one day be created. . . .
