You are correct - Zillow tends to be very inaccurate in most of the Sacramento area. Unfortunately, many real estate information hounds take Zillow as absolute truth.





Valuation
Your methodology also seems seriously flawed, in that you estimate that home values in my area have gone up over 200% in the last ten years. We bought our home 12 yeras ago for $270K. At 200% of an increase in value, the value of our home by your estimate would be $810K, but you show your valuation as $600K, and that is before we substantally remodeled and added to our home. I would hope that NO BUYER OR SELLER would rely on your guestimates. For they are completely unreliable.
