Valuing a home

In checking prices of homes in this area, and around the country, I have come to the conclusion that you have no idea of whats going on with actaul or real prices. Just because a home occasionally sells in the area is not an indication of its value. Yet your service keeps lowering prices all around that area. Unless your service can do more than just use a few sales in any area of the country to determine a home's value your service will become a footnote on the internet.

Zillow values are automated for the most part and works with average and other available sold data.

Zillow values are guidelines at best, a starting point not an ending point or value.

Contact a Realtor® for a CMA for a better and more usable value.

Please realize that you are speaking to the forum community and not Zillow. Because appraisals do not just consist of comparable sales, ZIllow will never be a reliable source for home values. The best way for a consumer to attain an estimate of value is from an experienced Realtor who actually sells homes.
