If I understand correctly, three independent sites (Zillow, Trulia and homes.com) show the same data errors, so are all incorrect.   As this error seems to be happening on three independent sites, what do you think is going on?  I seriously doubt that these sites are intending to "lie".

THEY LIE!  It's been a 2 months-still wrong!   I GAVE THEM THE COUNTY WEBSITE address ~ I WORK IN THE REAL ESTATE ASSESSMENT OFFICE.  OUR REALTOR REQUESTED THEY FIX THE ASSESSMENT that THEY HAVE AT  $198,000 ON OUR HOME WHICH IS ASSESSED AT $421,000. You are talking about a home built in 2007, has 8.5 acres, brick, creek, finished bsmt, tile, hardwood, Great Room, 4 bdrms, 2 baths, mint move in condition!    The fact that they get away with these lies is unacceptable.   We have people coming in our office thinking we can correct Zillow's ERRORS.  TRULIA AND HOMES.COM HAVE FOLLOWED THE SAME ERRORS IN ALL THESE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT ASSESSMENTS AND VALUES!

Zillow readily admits that its Zestimates are estimates based upon public records.  It takes awhile for Zillow to update Zestimates when public records change.
