Yes they are.  Zillow does a lot of things pretty well but Zestimates are not the best at all.  Often they only work relatively well in areas where all homes are priced pretty much by cost per square foot.  If you live in a nice area such as Santa Barbara CA where homes next to each other can be priced $500K differently, then zestimates are too off the mark.
