HARP is the refinance program and you need Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP).  Yes it does exist, it is whether you qualify for it or not.  We have a great success story take a look here for someone with a JUMBO loan, remember rates are higher on a jumbo loan then a loan under $417,000 - http://www.callalms.com/blog/2009/wachovia-attorney-loan-modification-success-story-laguna-beach/

there is also the HAMP program.

ALL lenders have plenty of options to help you modify your mortgage loan right now. If you provide the right information and make the numbers work.. there is no reason for the lender to not modify loans.

Harp is a refinance program not a modification program.
Wachovia is still separate and won't be completely combine for 6 or more months. The only way to get anything modified with wellsfargo is to go thru hope or file a Bankruptsy. if you don't they won't listen to you. I have heard the whole modification process is coming to an end anyways. since most of them end in foreclosure anyways. And you still have to have a job to modify.

It should exist.  I believe Wachovia's loans were sold to Wells Fargo.  They should have a number of programs under HARP.
