Are principal reduction loans still available or a thing of the past?

I have heard of several of the World Pick-A-Pay loans getting principal reduction.   Mostly on upside-down and defaulted loans.   Definitely worth a call to Wells Fargo to see what they say

So far, Bank of America is the only that has publicly announced and is offering this principal reduction as an option.  With Wachovia, now owned and operated by Wells Fargo, i would assume they will follow soon to wash their books clean.  Check with your lender and ask for more details.
