Just added walkscore and Yelp APIs to the existing Zillow API demo.

This now shows Walkscore for the property and the Yelp reviews for the neighborhood in addition to the following.

Comparable properties on Google map
Mortgage rates for your state and national average
Zillow charts

That's pretty cool. How does one get it on a website?

Thanks,

Ed

1) Sign in to Yelp at www.yelp.com and request for API Key.

2) Request API Key from Walkscore

Both APIs can take latitude and longitude of the locations - in this case I get these from the Zillow Search

Once you get the result back from these APIs, you need to parse it and display. This is similar to how you use Zillow API and will require some programming.

Sample URL for Yelp (output is in JSON format).

http://api.yelp.com/business_review_search?term=schools&lat=37.788022&long=-122.399797&radius=10&num_biz_requested
=20&ywsid=
YOUR_YELP_API_KEY

Sample URL for Walkscore

http://api.walkscore.com/score?wsapikey=YOUR_WALKSCORE_API_KEY&lat=33.8669&lon=-118.069

They provide ready to use widgets as well if you don't want to do your own coding (just like Zillow).
