We've 'contacted the agent' twice on a property and have never heard back from him? What can we do?

We are on a time crunch, my company has moved my job to Las Vegas. We have attempted to contact the agent on the Redstone St. property twice and he has never returned our communication. Can someone help us with this?

Hire a Buyer's Agent you like who communicates with you promptly. They will be your advocate and work for you 100%. IF you are interested in Redstone they will have the channels to contact the agent outside of Zillow. Don't put up with an agent that isn't quick to help you, there are plenty out there who will be! Good luck!

Don't waste your time with an agent that doesn't return your calls.  Call someone else.  Find someone you like and can trust.  Build a rapport with them.  You'll know after you speak to them.

Google a few agents in your area or go to www.rebac.net for a buyers agent in the area in which you're looking.

Best of luck to you!

Find yourself another agent, one that will represent you. Any agent you choose to represent you will make sure they obtain a way to communicate with the listing agent, and if there is difficulty reaching him/her knows the channels they need to go through to get a response.

Good luck!

Call a different agent!!
Any agent in the area can help you purchase any home!
If the listing agent is not returning calls...he is not only not helping you but is also really letting down his seller!Another agent in the area can help you in the purchase of that home.

Good luck,

Team Kern

You need a great "buyer's agent".
Often "listing agents" are reluctant to represent both sides of a deal,
so get your owne agent and let him/her go to work for you!

Call one of your local offices and ask specifically for a buyer's agent.

Thanks, Robyn the Realtor

Adele Hrovat in Las Vegas is one of the only "Exclusive Buyer Agents" in all of Nevada.  I have met her in person and she is phenomenal.

Find out who the broker is and contact them.  Agree or disagree with buyers agency, buyers should always have a choice whether they choose to work with a buyers agent or represent themselves.

I will agree with the other agents that it's always best to have your own representation. A buyer's agent can get you in to this property quickly and offer you other options that meet your criteria so that you don't have to do all the work. However, if you only want to speak with the listing agent and they aren't getting back to you it's possible that it's because the home is already under contract. I would sugest that you call the listing office (the listing agent's main office number) and ask to speak with the 'floor' person. They can pull the listing and give you it's current status and schedule an appointment if the home is still available.

You should always have your own agent. The seller's agent is looking out for the seller, not for you.

It's highly recommended to hire a buyer's agent, like myself. Feel free to contact me directly, and your real estate needs will be fulfilled.   :)

I must second what Sharon said, especially if time is off the essense. That property may not even work out, and if you are using your own agent, they will already be addressing that possibility and searching for properties that have the elements you desire.

Hire yourself a buyer's agent. You're attempting to contact a listing agent who is primarily concerned about the seller. You want someone to represent your interests. If you don't know anyone in the area for a recommendation of a good buyer's agent, look on the internet for someone who's philosophy matches yours and call them to discuss buying a home.
