We know they do not accept offers contingent on the sale of your house, but we have buyers for our house and are including their preapproval and estimated closing date documents along with our pre approval in our offer. We are offering Fannie Mae their asking price for the home. Is there any chance they will accept it?

Fannie requires most offers be made through the Homepath.com site. They are very strict in the offer process. You would be making an offer to buy. The only negotiations are based on purchase price, closing costs, and down payments toward the property. There are no other particulars allowed.

You realtor should know that they are not, too many deals do not make it to table for unexpected reasons and many get delay after delay.You aare going to have to wait and be in a better position after you sell your home!

No,believe it or not they prefer CASH offers and when financing is involved
they would rather you go through theri Home Path program. I gave up on them.
