Hi Cher: Since we get this data from public records, we can't edit the source. But, you can update the information on your home on Zillow by updating your home facts and creating your own estimate. Here's more on how to do it: http://www.zillow.com/learnmore/EditingHomeFacts.htm

Be aware that you can claim ownership of the house and update the information, but this will not change the "Zestimate". The Zestimate is based on public facts, and your list of improvements is not in the "public domain" (i.e., you are personally modifying the house's description).

What will happen is that Zillow will display an "Owner's Estimate", which will reflect the changes and your estimation of the additional value. However, this only displays when someone actually brings up your home's information (i.e., not on the general map display).
